Breakfast Served from 8:30 a.m. to noon Facing the Sea

All the products offered are homemade or come from local producers and organic farming. In our veranda facing the sea, enjoy a privileged moment in all serenity. Breakfast is served from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in our veranda facing the sea or outdoors. No need for an alarm clock, a moment of tranquility. Available at €18 for adults and €6 for children.

Gastronomic fair trade cooking

The gastronomic table of Ar Men Du, awarded by the Michelin Guide in 2020 with a green star and the distinction of “Sustainable Gastronomy” and 3 Toques “Remarkable Table” at Gault et Millau.

“These distinctions are the accomplishment of the work of an entire team in the kitchen and outside the kitchen. It is the sublime recognition of the work of our local producers and the highlighting by the team of the Chef of their work on the plates.”

The chef works with products from our beautiful region in collaboration with our local suppliers. Different menus are offered (from €59) and each dish is served “à la carte”. A seafood menu is also available, as well as a very good wine list (about 600 references).

Hotel with 17 rooms

We have 17 rooms all with sea view with just as much charm and cachet in each of the rooms. They were all renovated between 2017 and 2019 and offer a marine decor. Furnished with the greatest care, they are all equipped with hair dryer, flat-screen television with international channels, TNT, bathrobes, direct telephone line, Wifi access, safe and all the comforts of a 3* hotel. For your comfort, we have placed particular emphasis on original equipment or services such as a “Breton” welcome tray, beautiful soft sponges, a particularly cozy bed (according to our guests!) and a basket including large beach towels.

A relaxation area

For your relaxation to be complete, Pierre-Yves Roué, the Ar Men Du’s owner has requested the services of Coralie Le Nezet, professional masseuse qualified and certified by the FFMBE. Coralie offers you the quality of an institute massage in Ar Men Du. You will have the choice between different massages according to your desires and exclusively based on organic products for each of the massages offered.

Other services

Our house is ideally located, for hiking enthusiasts, on the GR34. This runs along the sea from the hotel, for the bravest, up to 25km towards Pont Aven or Concarneau…and the hotel shuttle can pick up those who are really too tired to walk back in Raguenez! This shuttle can also pick you up at the airport (Lorient) or the train station (Lorient or Quimperlé) upon reservation. The hotel has a car park hidden from view and a huge permaculture orchard and vegetable garden, creation of our winter 2019/2020. This space also includes a garden protected from the wind where hammocks are housed for beautiful naps facing the sea. This space creates an exceptional environment around the hotel of calm, serenity and an exceptional sea view from all the rooms and dining rooms. The hotel also offers a beautiful terrace facing the sunset and the Glénan archipelago…ideal from breakfast to an aperitif facing the sea.
